snowball lunches nowball Lunches

Our series of 'Snowball Lunches' is well underway. Members of the Emmaus Oxford Events Committee set the ball - or snowballs - rolling by inviting five(or more) friends to a meal,at which they make a donation to our charity. These guests subsequently invite four friends, each of whom then entertains three more, and so it continues. It only takes simple arithmetic to realise that large numbers of people could get involved - and a considerable sum of money raised! So you may receive an invitation, or indeed have already taken part. We are very grateful to the large numbers of supporters who have already attended and/or hosted a fundraising meal for us. We have raised thousands of pounds so far, with money still coming in.
